Battle of the Bulge Reenactment This Saturday

8 minutes from Annville Inn:

65th Commemoration of the Battle of the Bulge This Saturday at Ft. Indiantown Gap.

To be out at Ft. Indiantown Gap during the reenactment is like stepping into the pages of history. You are transported back to where the men's uniforms included leggings above their boots, the women have their hair up and are wearing green woolen skirts, and the song, "Boogie Woogie Bugle Boy of Company B" runs through your head.

The award-winning event has been running most of this week, and will culminate in a public event this Saturday, January 30th. Only two portions are open to the public, a 4:00 p.m. ceremony on Friday, January 29th, and a series of public reenactments and tours on Saturday, January 30th.

The reenactment has been recognized by the Pennsylvania Department of Education as an educational activity. It attracts thousands of people to the Ft. Indiantown Gap ~ Annville region.

WREATH LAYING CEREMONY: There will be a wreath
laying ceremony, a 21 gun military salute, and taps today,

Parking will be provided; once on the post please follow the signs to the parking area, once there buses will take you to the Battle Demonstration and Barracks Displays area.
